Abstract

In patients with chronic heart failure, serum vitamin D levels fluctuate in association with inflammatory cytokine markers. Also, on the basis of standard treatment, the combined use of sodium glucose type 2 inhibitor empagliflozin and vitamin D has been found to have a positive effect on inflammatory cytokines and vitamin D indicators.
