Abstract

This article focuses on the peculiarities of studying children with mental retardation. The article also provides details on how to deal with mental illness and the reasons for its occurrence, post-developmental disorder, somatic disorders, shortcomings in mental processes, psychological and medical prophylaxis of mental retardation.
