TRAZODONE: IS IT STILLRELEVANT AS A WORK PAIN RELIEVING
Abstract
A forthcoming randomized single blinded controlled examination directed in 200 primigravidae in dynamic work, appropriated in two gatherings of 100 ladies each with one getting 100mg intramuscular Trazodone and the other accepting intramuscular 2 ml refined water as control. Torment force was recorded by McGills scale previously, one and three hours after medication organization and perinatal result recorded. No distinction in agony power seen before drug organization. Following 60 minutes, of medication organization, in Trazodone bunch 4% ladies had terrible torment and 29% had upsetting torment while in benchmark group, 30% ladies had horrendous torment and 60% had troubling torment. Following 3 hours, of medication organization, in Trazodone bunch 26% had upsetting agony while in benchmark group, 51% ladies had ghastly torment and 35% had troubling torment. Work length in Trazodone and control bunch was 4.3 and 5.9 hours individually.
