The article offers a general overview of the national legislation in the field of combating juvenile delinquency. Ongoing reforms in this area. The role of the state in the prevention of offenses, which consists in the implementation of a set of interrelated measures carried out by bodies and institutions directly engaged in the prevention of offenses in order to preserve and strengthen law and order, identify, suppress offenses, as well as identify, eliminate the causes of offenses.
