This thesis explores the role of axiological approaches in fostering altruistic values among prospective teachers within higher pedagogical education. Particular attention is given to the relationship between value orientations, moral responsibility, empathy, and prosocial behavior in professional teacher preparation. The study employs theoretical analysis, comparative interpretation, and synthesis of scholarly perspectives on values education, altruistic motivation, and professional ethics. The findings identify pedagogical conditions that can facilitate the internalization of altruistic values through reflective learning, collaborative activities, and ethically oriented educational experiences. A conceptual framework connecting value awareness, emotional responsiveness, responsible action, and professional reflection is proposed. The study concludes that axiological approaches provide a theoretical and methodological foundation for integrating altruism into prospective teachers' professional development.
