Abstract

This study explores the high efficiency of learning English through listening as a primary method of language acquisition. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, data were collected from 200 participants across various proficiency levels. Results indicated significant improvements in comprehension, vocabulary, and pronunciation, with 75% of learners noting enhanced vocabulary retention. The use of diverse auditory materials, such as podcasts and audiobooks, fostered engagement and motivation. Challenges related to accents and rapid speech were identified, suggesting the need for targeted strategies. Overall, the findings highlight the importance of integrating listening into language learning curricula to enhance proficiency and cultural understanding.
