Abstract

Personality development is a multifaceted process influenced by a myriad of factors, including social influences. Drawing upon theories such as cognitive-affective systems theory, the five-factor theory, and ecological systems theory, it examines how societal norms, cultural values, family dynamics, peer interactions, and socio-economic status contribute to the formation of personality. The paper highlights the dynamic interplay between individual characteristics and social contexts, emphasizing the importance of understanding these influences for promoting healthy development and well-being.
