Abstract

A number of studies have shown that female sex is a predictor of poor prognosis in patients with local pain syndrome (1,2,3,4) Shiri R et al. (2019)] believe that the leading role in explaining this fact belongs to social causes. Women do more housework and have less time for treatment (5). Pinto RZ et al. (2017)] found that adverse treatment outcomes in women are leveled out in multimodal programs that include not only standard drug treatment, but also exercise therapy, psychotherapy, physiotherapy, manual therapy, and educational programs (6). All of the above led to this study.
